Report a wrong figure

One address, no form, and a strong preference for messages about facts that have stopped being true.

The address

Write to [email protected]. There is no ticketing system, no autoresponder and no form behind it.

The message most worth sending

A CompTIA figure that has changed. Every exam fact here carries the day it was read, and CompTIA moves versions, pass marks and fees. If a page on this site no longer matches the page it cites, that is a defect and it gets fixed.

Three lines are enough:

  1. Which page on this site, and which sentence.
  2. The CompTIA address that contradicts it.
  3. What that page says today.

Two things nobody can help you with here

What the exam costs. If we knew, it would be printed. The search for that figure is documented in what A+ costs, and the answer is to start a purchase on CompTIA's own store in your own country.

Anything about your certification record. Expiry dates, score reports, renewal submissions and appeals are between you and CompTIA. This site has no access to any of it and guessing would be worse than useless.

Corrections policy

A correction changes the page and changes the read date on it. Nothing is edited quietly to look as though it had always said the new thing — if a figure was wrong, the page that carried it says what changed.
